A vehicle decision is rarely just a price decision. The better question is whether the whole ownership picture still makes sense after repairs, time, risk, fees, and resale are included.
Start with the full picture
A low asking price can hide a weak decision. The purchase price is only the entry point. Real ownership includes repairs, maintenance catch-up, taxes, fees, insurance, downtime, and the possibility that the vehicle will be harder to sell than expected.

Separate price from risk

A good ownership decision gives you a next move you can explain. If you cannot explain why the vehicle still makes sense, the numbers probably need another pass.
